RCRHS - CHHRN

Tnew-logo-arturo-updated-smallrcrhshe Pan-Canadian Health Human Resources Network (CHHRN) was established through funds from Health Canada and is compromised of national experts researchers and policy makers involved/interested in health human resource research, policy and/or planning.

Our Goals:

  • To provide access to the latest HHR information and evidence on innovative approaches to HHR development, training, financing, regulation, recruitment and retention.
  • To gather, share, exchange and build capacity in high-quality health human resource research and provide access to on ongoing research and model-development at pan-Canadian, provincial/territorial and local/regional service delivery levels.
  • To connect experts, researchers and policy/decision makers in order to better coordinate research and support the development and implementation of high quality, evidence-based, HHR policies and best practices.

CHHRN is Comprised of:

Central Hub

ivy-newDr. Ivy Lynn Bourgeault CIHR/Health Canada Research Chair in Health Human Resource Policy; Scientific Director of the Ontario Health Human Resources Network; Lead Coordinator of the Pan-Canadian Health Human Resources Network.

Western Hub

morrisMorris Barer Director of the Centre for Health Services and Policy Research at the University of British Columbia; former Scientific Director of the CIHR Institute of Health Services and Policy Research.

Eastern Hub
