Dr. Bourgeault is also the University of Ottawa site lead for the PHIRNET strategic training initiative in health research funded by the CIHR. PHIRNET provides financial support to doctoral and postdoctoral fellows conducting population health intervention research and hosts an annual summer institute. Students advised by Dr. Bourgeault are eligible to apply for these funding initiatives.
